Constructed from toughened laminated glass, the Flushglaze Walk-On Rooflight is manufactured to withstand regular foot traffic in UK domestic applications with uniform loading’s of 1.5kN/m² and concentrated loading’s of 2.0kN in accordance with EN 1991-1-1-1:2002.
The Flushglaze Walk On Rooflights are commonly installed using decking to achieve a flush finish with the rooflight as an upstand is still required, Glazing Vision provide alternative details so that solid finishes such as paving can be used if desired.
Our Walk On Rooflights are also available in wall abutted or multi-part variations using aluminium back to back angles for structural support or as internal walk on units for building interiors – We can also design and manufacture walk on rooflights for other applications such as public areas, commercial or heavy duty applications, where loadings will be higher.
Note: Care should be taken when walking on glass that is wet. Anti-slip finishes are available for all our walk on rooflights. Please contact our technical sales team for further information.
